Drilling at New School in the Village of Bushasha

November 5, 2018

Not long ago, we were asked to develop a well at a school that is being constructed outside of Bukoba in the village of Bushasha. When we were offered this opportunity we joyously replied "yes!".

The local students help our team by carrying water for the drilling equipment from a nearby stream.

When a well is developed, the community contributes to its construction. From carrying water for the equipment, to helping construct or move bricks, people young and old contribute to the development of their source of safe water. They are grateful for their gift and show it with their labor.

We anxiously await the moment when we see first water as do the school administrators and students.

We look forward in sharing that joy with you in a subsequent post.
